Where were you on 9/11/2001?
I'm dedicating this posting to the memories of those who lost love ones 10 yrs ago. The thought of it still brings tears to my eyes. I remember this day vividly even though I wasn't in NYC, but it's hard to forget what you heard and saw on TV.
Where or what was I doing on this day? It was 7am Cali time, I was driving to work at GUESS? corporate office (was as Assistant Buyer for them back in 99). LOVE that job! Anyways, I'm on the 110 heading to downtown LA when on the radio was the news about what happen to the first twin towers. So first thing, everyone thought of was a freak accident, then comes the news about the 2nd plane, gasppppppp, so then you freak. I arrived to the office and we were told we could go home to be with family and then that was when we saw on TV about the pentagon and Flight 93. I was suppose to be flying on that day back to Ohio but had cxl my flight a week before. So, at that time my mind was baffle what if? I had a 3 yr old at that time and the thought of leaving him motherless scared me to death. Though he would be in great hands with my family, the thought still scares anyone who leaves their little ones behind to early. Now my son is 15 and he sort of remembers that day because he was in a daycare and they watched the news until all parents were able to pick up their children.
I am impress with the courage & strength of those that lost their love ones that day. It takes a lot of will power and support to be able to move forward. The thought of losing my husband, kids, family members or close friends is a scary thought. We take things for granted until you don't have them anymore and then it's too late to reflect what if.
So I hope who ever reads my blog, reflect on their lives and appreciate others and most of all what you have.
Be kind to each other as we are all human beings trying to live our day to day life.

It's Saturday afternoon and I feel like it's Sunday evening already
Finally we see some sunshine this week. I am one of those people who NEEDS the sun to make my day otherwise if it's raining or gray out for days I'm bummed and can't get anything done. So when we lived in Redondo Beach for many years then we moved to San Diego for 2 yrs (LOVE, LOVE) and isn't the same since we left the beach and perfect weather.
So here are some more new designs and looks like Safari prints are making it's way back. I had fun making these party packages.

I love DIY printable also but as a customers I prefer DIY KIT even better! You don't have to print or go out and hunt for the supplies just to make the DIY set you purchased. I offer many designs and packages that you can purchase and Do It Yourself without having to go out and buy or use up all your ink cartridge just to print.
Here are some of my KITS I have ready to ship (they can also be customize to your wording, child's name & age to be).

Where has the time gone? Summer is over for my family!
2 out of 3 of our kids are in school already, can you believe that? I remember when school started in Sept and still end in early June.
So our oldest child is in ROTC and our middle started kindergarten but I'm still left with our 2 yr old. Nice to just be us two but also I have to constantly be her play date because big sis was there to always play with her (bummer for me and now I work even much later). But I enjoy every moment with her and learning how amazing she is. Very strong willed little girl she is and very independent.
I LOVE to cook as much as planning and creating amazing parties but time always seems to creep up on me so quickly that I usually have to cook quick simple meals. At least our kids aren't quite picky. We lucked out with our last child (the 2 yr old) she eats just about everything, she loves veggies (even salads). Our other two eats veggie too but ONLY certain veggies, so our popular buy are carrots, broccoli, green beans & soybean.
I'm not a picky eater as I LOVE food and it's starting to show. I need & like to lose a few pounds if I can only stay focus and discipline myself to get on a diet. Maybe it'll be my New Years' resolution to lose about 30 pounds. Be nice to get back down to 100lbs as I was prior to my two girls. After having my son years ago, losing weight was easy but boy after 2 girls it's a struggle.
I like blogging, it's basically me talking to myself on a computer and in hopes for someone to read me. OK, time for bed, night, night!

Late Saturday Night
I was never a night owl, until I married my husband many years ago. I used to love getting up at 6-7am and start my day but now it's more like 10-11am because I'm up late until 3am before I finally head to bed.
Now that 2 out of 3 are back in school, I can start getting up at 6am and start my day with some boba drink (LOVE! LOVE!) especially the black pearls in the coffee drink (taste like gummy bears but round and not as sweet but chewy like gummy bears).
I have some more wonderful designs to share with everyone that are having a party coming up soon or in the near future. Party favor tags, I had fun designing and making these.
